- A young Burt Reynolds gave a great performance as a no good, alcoholic, football star trouble maker. He still manages to endear himself to you though.
- The cast they built around this jail house tale was phenomenol in their vivid characterizations of some memorable characters.
- I think this movie is really funny. The antics and personalities of these almost lovable cons will definitely have you cheering for them from the very beginning.
- IT'S FOOTBALL !!! I don't believe I have ever seen a football movie I didn't LIKE. This just happens to be a football movie that I LOVE.
